Be your quirky, unique self- Aquarius Full Moon

Empathic helpers often have difficulty stepping outside of their shell. With great sensitivity comes a tendency to go deep within. Couple this with others insensitivity, it takes a lot of courage for these people to shine their inner light. Today, I am writing and including a video reading about the Aquarius full moon, which occurs July 23rd.

Full Moon Energy

Empathic helpers, being sensitive to energy, are often influenced by lunar and planetary changes. The good news is the more you are aware of these shifts, the better you can manage your moods and thoughts.

A full moon is a reminder to surrender to the Divine. You can let go of physical items, emotional baggage or creative blocks. Whatever is getting in the way of what you want in life, release it all. You can focus on letting go during the full moon and up to forty-eight hours afterwards.

The Aquarius Full Moon

The full moon in Aquarius supports the energy of showing the world the real you! If you have been following my previous months videos, we had the message from the Cancer moon of speaking your truth and coming out of your shell. The previous Gemini moon’s energy, encouraged you to assert yourself, be courageous and follow your gut instincts.

Now is the time, to express your feelings from your heart, without blame and take responsibility. Your thoughts may be more towards humanity. You may be thinking, what is my life’s purpose and what is getting in the way of my helping humanity?

Allow life to unfold, without becoming too detached. Aquarius energy can get stuck in thoughts. Don’t detach from you, be yourself! This means your unique, quirky self. We need everyone’s light to shine bright on this planet.

With the full moon, be prepared for letting go. You may need to move on, in order to make room for the new. What needs to go? Listen deep within. Remember, your answers may not be conventional. When it comes to the emotions, expect the unexpected and unusual. Calm any nervous energy at this time, through meditation, prayer and being by the water.

Are you Open to a Miracle?

In the recent past, I struggled with my beliefs due to circumstances involving health and relationships. I am aware of miracles because I have experienced these blessings numerous times throughout my life. I know you have too. Some of you right now may be hoping for your own miracle. Let me assure you, it is not only possible but also guaranteed under Divine grace for each one of us to receive miracles.

Miracles are often unexpected surprises. For those who hold a strong faith, a miracle acts as a confirmation of their beliefs. Most of us fall into this next category. Being human, you have doubts and fear. You don’t expect a miracle can or will happen for you. When this happens, acknowledge and feel all of these emotional states. Once you feel them, they transition out of your consciousness, making room for your miracle. Resisting emotions, blocks the energy of miraculous solutions. This is what I write about in my story called A Found Friend, a journey of getting lost in the Canadian woods, with my husband, and finding not only our way out, but also a serendipitous friend.

How to Get Your Miracle:

1.) Be Aware of Ordinary Miracles

Miracles happen everyday, yet we are too busy or distracted to notice how blessed we are. Some miracles are routine, such as breathing, seeing and eating. These are all gifts keeping you alive to experience the wonder of life. Start keeping track of your these familiar miracles. You can do this through a gratitude journal. Being thankful for miracles, increases your positive energy and vibration. The more you notice miracles, the more you receive.

Here is a short list of everyday miracles;

Someone with anxiety or depression goes to therapy. This person allows themselves to sit with uncomfortable emotions and expresses them.

A lost wallet is returned, with all of its contents inside.

The fact we live on this beautiful planet, suspended in space.

Random acts of kindness.

A tiny seed grows into a large oak tree.

2.) Ask and You Shall Receive

Pray to the Divine and ask for a miracle. It is through your connection to the Divine, you experience miracles.

Make your intentions known. Write them down, talk about them with a trusted friend. This breathes inspiration and energy into your wishes.

3.) Allowing/Worthiness

In order to receive you need to be aware, but also be open to receive, without expectation. Surrender your way of doing for a larger plan. Recite the Serenity Prayer, as I did in my story.

Believe and know you are worthy of extraordinary experiences big and small. You do not have to do anything to have a miracle. It is about knowing you deserve simply because you exist.

4.) Connect with Other Miracles

When you hear or read about other people’s miracles, you gain hope. If it can happen to them, it could happen to you. Look for podcast episodes featuring miracles and read books. I have been reading this Believe in Miracles book to remind me of my own and other people’s miracles. It is boosting my faith, may it boost yours too. Why Archangel Gabriel is the Best Writer's Angel

There are many angels and archangels to assist a writer with their creative practice. If you are looking for specialization, Archangel Gabriel is the messenger angel, who works with writers and all communicators. When you write and publish your book, you will also need to market your book. Gabriel can help with every step in this process.

Archangel Gabriel gives motivation, courage, and opportunities to those who feel guided to write. The desire to write is a signal, this is a part of your life purpose. Those who have repetitive thoughts such as, I want to be a writer, are receiving Divine guidance to express heavenly messages through a book, article, blog, or other medium. In some cases, Gabriel will suggest journaling or keeping a diary as a way to open up and receive inspiration. My personal call

I first received the message to be a writer in 2009, after a thyroid cancer scare. I prayed to God. “What can I do?” I heard, be a writer. I had the surgery to remove half of my thyroid gland and nodule in 2009. When I returned home, I was informed my first article was published. This lead to numerous other magazine publications, my stories being published in soon to be three Chicken Soup for the Soul Books, various #1 international bestselling anthology books, continuing education writings, guest blogging and meditation recordings.   1. You will be drawn to children- This archangel, spoke to Elizabeth and Mother Mary to tell them about the birth of their sons. Gabriel also helps Moms and children. You may find yourself being drawn to children in your family or circle of friends more. Gabriel plants this seed to help children but also connects you with play and laughter. Being carefree and silly, boosts creativity and your mood. This lightheartedness keeps you motivated to write.
  2. Seeing or hearing trumpets- Since, Gabriel is the messenger angel, you may see or hear a trumpet. I read a book about Gabriel and visited Prince Edward Island, Canada. As we drove by a cemetery, I was compelled to stop. There were two beautiful Gabriel statues with trumpets.

Growing up, my Mom told me everyone has a guardian angel. This angel is with you since birth helping you throughout your life. It was 20 years ago, I bought my first angel card oracle deck. I had a tarot deck, animal oracle cards and rune cards yet I preferred my connection to the angels. I found them to be gentle and direct with their guidance, which is the perfect combination for an empath like me. From there, I bought thirteen angel card decks, a mediumship card deck and a goddess oracle card deck.

The angels have helped manifest many goals and intentions. They guided me to release what blocked my progress and where to increase my energy. I have found angels can help with anything, from the mundane areas of life to the most important. Your only limitation is your own mind because any area of life is a possibility for growth. All you have to do is ask!

Here are some specific areas angels help with the manifestation process, remember the list is endless.

1.) Find work you love and live your life’s purpose. When you are uncertain, the angels can show you how to increase your confidence, be more assertive, hone in on your skills and interests. Archangel Michael’s specialty is work and life purpose.

How to find pain relief through your mind

When you are in a state of suffering and distress, it is difficult to be peaceful, spiritual and at ease, yet this is the place you long to be in. I know because I have experience with chronic pain and illness.

I have enjoyed many months with little to no pain by working on myself emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually. When I began to have chronic pain issues, nine years ago, I never thought I could have a day without pain. I tried several different medications but decided to live without them because I could not tolerate the side effects being a sensitive person.

You look healthy!

As a child, I hid my pain from others. I felt responsible, being an empath, for everyone’s emotional well being. I often wore a smile and focused on those around me, ignoring my own needs. From the outside, I looked healthy, yet within I carried hidden pain. The saying, “you never know what someone is going through,” is true for someone who lives with chronic pain and invisible illness.

Today

Now, I express my pain in healthy ways, in order to take care of myself.  I let others know what I am going through when I need to withdraw temporarily in order to heal myself. Pain has brought me a more spiritual life. I cry out to God, the angels and spiritual helpers, while I surrender to their love and guidance

I write as part of my healing. Recently, I had a flare up of two sites at once. At first, I thought; what did I do wrong? I realized with any chronic condition you will experience cycles of relapse and remission.

Working with the pain

Acceptance- Be where you are. Trying to escape pain does not work because it is with you and focusing on the pain intensifies it because you are teaching your brain to think about the sensation. If it is not severe, you can distract from it temporarily.

There are times the answer lies in acceptance. Accept the hopeless feeling and sit with it. As you focus on your slow, rhythmic breathing, say to yourself, “I feel stuck right now, I feel hopeless, I don’t know what to do.” People are resistant to use the word hopeless because they have a fear of getting stuck in it. You need to admit where you are, in order to surrender and move through it. It is when you resist or deny feelings, you get stuck.

Remember there is hope even when you do not feel it. Know you can keep going and you are not alone. There are answers for you even if  you haven’t found them yet.

Be gentle with yourself. When you see someone you love in a vulnerable state you give them gentle loving care, why not yourself? You are just as valuable and worthy. Soften your voice, speak kindly and hold a space for yourself. When you experience a rough day, keep your schedule light.

Employ self-care. What does self-care mean for you?  It can be a favorite cup of tea, a warm blanket, soft music and/or a scented candle.

Exercise. If your doctor recommends exercise, do it. A gentle walk can help some forms of pain. When you circulate the blood and connect with nature, it supports the healing process.

Rest. There is great power in being. A lot of healing takes place with restorative sleep, meditation and mindfulness. Pain is an exhausting experience, it drains your energy. Make time to rest.

Find a therapist. You will want a psychotherapist who is compassionate about your health but also will challenge you to think and act differently. Cognitive behavioral therapy works specifically with your thoughts and behaviors. This type of treatment helps you change your thinking about the pain sensation and has been highly effective with pain management.

In closing

We all suffer pain at some point in our lives whether it is mental, physical or spiritual. It is human nature to want to avoid pain, yet pain can teach you something valuable about yourself. It is up to you to discover that meaning and a therapist can help you with this process. The next time you feel pain, work with your body but do not forget your mind. Your mind is much more powerful than any of us know or believe.

Life is full of changes. It is your choice whether to resist or accept them. Holding onto the way things “should be done” or having expectations drains you of precious energy. The most difficult yet loving act can be letting go.

During the holidays, I faced change within my own family. At first, I felt hurt, disappointed, sad and angry. All of these feelings are valid, yet some of these were rooted in my childhood. After I fully sat with these feelings, I was able to release them and appreciate that the holidays can be different from what I have previously experienced.

5 Ways to Release Expectations

  1. Watch for signs of change- I began to notice changes in my family about two years ago. Change rarely happens out of the blue but rather over a period of time in small increments. People begin to have different experiences from one another and grow apart. This is normal and okay. We are all discovering our own spiritual growth and path. The problems begin when you deny what you see because of a fear of change.
  2. Let go of fear- When you are resisting or trying to control the experience, it doesn’t feel good. Let go and let God. Healing happens when you release because you allow spirit to enter the situation and your life. You may even be able to find some positives in change.
  3. Let go of control- Allow people to be who they are and do what they want, this gives you and them freedom and peace. I am pretty good at this because I was the one in my family growing up wanting events to be different. When I was forced to do things in order to make other people happy, I felt resentful and withdrew. No one wants that kind of energy at their event.
  4. Let go of expectations- See people for who they are, not what you want them to be. People will show and tell you what they want and who they are, if you listen. Be open to seeing what is and drop any illusions you have about this person and the relationship.
  5. Define what you want- Change gives you an opportunity to focus on what is important to you. For the holidays and other future events, I want to send everyone an energy of appreciation and acknowledgement. An event isn’t about pleasing one person, but rather thinking of the entire group who are coming together to celebrate. There are no perfect solutions but there are ways to compromise and let go for the highest good.

No matter what your relationship, keep your eyes open to the signs of change. Allow change to flow and be open to the possibility that something different could be better than you expect. No matter what happens, you can choose love and this is how you will be happy.

How to Manifest with the Moon

Are you sensitive to the moon’s gravitational pull? The moon has eight phases in one monthly cycle. During this time, empaths can sense or feel the emotional, physical and spiritual effects of the increasing and deceasing energy each month. Let’s make the most out of this natural occurrence, sync up your energy with that of the moon and manifest the heck out of it.

When you experience the full moon twice in one month, it is known as a blue moon. The months following could be powerhouses of creation if you work this energy to your favor. The full moon energy is a fabulous time to release what you no longer need in your life. You can choose to let go of emotions, illnesses, blocks to creativity or outdated beliefs. Whatever your heart desires, you get the idea. Make an effort to look for the full moon and stand in the moonlight whether it is from a window or outside to absorb her healing energy.

The full moon is a great time of the month to not only clean house spiritually and emotionally but also physically. Organize papers, discard or donate items that you no longer need. Think of these words; Surrender & Release. Speaking of cleaning, it is a time to cleanse and charge your crystals. Place your crystals in a bowl and leave them in the light of the full moon.

Changes you may notice during the full moon are an increase in energy, which can be excellent during the day although not when you need to sleep. Many empaths cannot shut down and suffer from insomnia or restlessness physically, mentally or spiritually during the full moon.  Use this energy as fuel for your creativity. If you are awake do not stew in frustration, grab your journal and write or pick up a brush and paint. Take a sea salt bath to ground any physical restlessness.

 

New Moon (1)

 

The new moon is hidden in the darkness of the sky. In the shadows of the night is immense power. It is in the darkness that seeds grow and become beautiful flowers or vegetables in your garden overtime. Now that you have cleared away and let go of what no longer serves you, you have room for something new. What would you like to create or manifest in your life? This is a wonderful time for new beginnings in the form of intentions. Think of these words; Focus & Imagine.

Use this time to meditate and write out what you would like to take form in your life. Is it a book project, expanded circle of friends or healthier lifestyle? Whatever it is, paint a beautifully vivid colorful picture of it in your mind, infusing it with lots of positive feelings. Everything you plant during this time will manifest in one form or another according to the Divine’s planning. Trust that this or something better will take shape in your life in the next couple of months or year.

The moons energy is peaked on the full and new moon dates, you can get in on the action on these days or anywhere within a three day time period after these dates. Life gets busy, put these dates in your calendar as a reminder. Happy Manifesting!
