4 Ways to Tune In & Strengthen Your Powerful Intuition

“There is only one journey: going inside yourself.” This quote by Rainer Maria Rilke, captures the spirit of these times.

We are hearing large amounts of information about COVID-19. It is overwhelming. At this point, there is clear guidance for being around people for essential purposes. How do we handle smaller one on one interactions with family and friends? How will we go into businesses again and re-open our own business in what many are calling, “the new normal?” These answers have not been so clear. The powers at be are figuring this out as we go. Now is the time to think about how you are going to move forward as society re-opens.

Intuition will lead the way

I have my own ideas for a new way of being. Instead of telling you what I would do, I am going to write about how you can tune into your own inner wisdom. This way you can decide what is best for you and your family. Think of your intuition as your specialized inner guidance system. Your inner voice may give you a completely different message than my inner voice. This is okay. Some of you may choose to run out when society re-opens, while others choose to stay home more. There are no right or wrong answers, as long as your actions do not harm yourself or others.

If you are truly listening to your intuition, the messages will be based on peace and love. The more you listen, the stronger your voice becomes and you will receive more messages. Trust you are guided, even when you feel confused, unsure or afraid. Know you are not alone and allow spirit to speak through you.

4 Ways to Tune In & Strengthen Your Powerful Intuition (1)

  1. Allow– Make time and space for quiet, this will allow your mind and body to relax. You can create this at home or go into nature. Invite your higher power or spirit to speak clearly to you today. Remember, your inner voice guides you every day. This voice speaks softly, in order to hear, you need to slow down, listen and receive.
  2. Be Aware– Pay attention to the synchronicity around you and trust what you know. Write these signs in a journal, which will further confirm to you, spirit is with you. Your inner voice speaks in a tone of love and truth, not fear and control. The more peaceful the message, the stronger it is.
  3. Meditate- The practice of meditation will relax your mind, bring you a sense of inner peace and help you listen to inner guidance. It may take multiple sessions to achieve clearer thoughts, keep at it. You can find numerous meditations on You Tube and I have created special meditations for empaths on https://lisahutchison.selz.com/
  4. Write- Create a space of quiet and write down questions for your inner self. Take some deep breaths, center your energy and write your responses without judgement. Let the words flow from your soul onto the page.

Some questions to include:

What do I need right now?

What is my next step?

How can I create some happiness in my life?

  1. Loved how your wisdom allows others here to be the barometer to guide their own wisdom in following their own inner guidance…

There is so much Fear being spread around at the moment… And that fear is now affecting behaviours in others that I would never have believed had I not heard it myself.. I met a woman on the allotments the other day who went on and on about others actions and how she was reporting people for going out as a family…

( She and her husband have no children and she must be 60ish.. ) Yet there she was stood nearer to me than social distancing rules as we both went to fetch water, I respectfully stopped keeping my distance for her sake.. Yet she walked closer and closer…. Yet I was not worried or even bothered by that.. It was her words which stopped me in my tracks…..I just get on with life… And what will be will be… It was a case of do as I say not do as I do.. And she was worried of families going out for walks together not spacing that passed her and her husband dog walking she would catch something!!! ….

It really is affecting people in strange ways.. not surprising given they watch almost 24/7 the subliminal tapes of media melt down continue to programme everyone..

I tried speaking my speak to her.. … But mid sentence, I could see she was not listening to anything other than her words…
So yes.. People have to find their own ways.. Follow their intuitive ways, and listen with their hearts not their heads to what they feel..

One thing I do know.. Being Fearful all the time is not going to do their own immune systems any good.. As Dr Bruce Lipton speaks of.. Stress, lowers the immune system…

    Take care dearest Lisa… Well timed post my friend… ❤ 🙂 ❤

    • Thanks Sue!
There is a lot of fear and fear does strange things to people, when they allow it to overtake them. I have also noticed people projecting their fears onto others and not being mindful of themselves.
I find being informed is good but too much information seems to be detrimental. Especially when some sources are playing upon people’s fear rather than educating. Going back to the source of our inner wisdom seems to be the best advice at this time.

Yes, too much fear will lower our immune system, the exact opposite of what we need right now.

Many Blessings to you and your family, Sue! -Lisa xoxo

  2. I couldn’t agree with you more, Lisa. When we return to the world there will be “new” new and unknowns. I like Sue have no fear yet I am very concerned with the multitude getting brainwashed via media, their reactions to us may be quite bizarre. What to do in those situations? Personally I’m so so weary of this fear of something that is a common everyday aspect of life ….. viruses and bacteria. The damage to mankind’s psyche is overwhelming and to even imagine what the world will be like is quite difficult to grasp. Yet we can at this time think how we would interact in certain situations. And you are perfectly right as well …. our Inner Guidance will be based on peace and love. Loved this post! Some of us are on the same wavelength!! Much love to you! xo

    • I often remark, I am more concerned about other people’s fearful reactions than the virus itself. We can only control our own reactions and behaviors. When the outside world gets to be too much, I turn within and listen.

Thanks so much Amy! Many blessings of love, peace and joy, Lisa xoxo

  3. Well expressed, Lisa, and I completely agree with you. How we move forward in this “new normal” will be up to us as more guidelines are provided. My family isn’t paranoid, but I think we’ll wait a while before going into a restaurant, just to see how things go. We don’t want to get sick and would rather be safe than sorry. Each time we go to the store is another chance to contract the virus, so we’ll wait for the unessential. However, we have used take-out to patronize our favorite local places.

Wearing a mask is what we do to protect others and I wish those who don’t want to wear one would think unselfishly in that way. I still smile behind it and hope the person receiving that smile can see it in my eyes. If everyone inserts these precautionary measures into their lives then the numbers will go down. No one wants to get sick, but no one is exempt either and Covid has no boundaries, as the leaders have stated.

We do look forward to resuming somewhat of a normal lifestyle, like taking drives and stopping somewhere for lunch. Or flying to Nashville to see our daughter. Not being able to visit this month was the hard part for us. These opportunities will present themselves again, but if our intuition tells us to take it slowly, then we will. I do agree with Sue insofar that we can’t give into fear. So, we need to recognize the line between feeling fearful and being cautious. There’s a difference. Also, the sheltering hasn’t been difficult for me because I have my husband and our 25-year-old son at home. Although, he plans to move out in the fall; he’s been working f.t. and saving up post college graduation for that adventure, so we shall see how things pan it.

Anyway, I’m not alone for which I’m grateful, but the effects are variable and devastating in so many ways. It’s heartbreaking. Whatever we choose, Peace and Love should be the focus. Thank you for this insightful and soothing piece of wisdom.

    • Thanks, Lauren.

There is so much we don’t know about this virus, etc. I do believe in wearing the mask in public places to stop the transmission and physical distancing. I feel sad how much division goes on in this country, now it has spilled over into mask wearing.

Each activity has the potential for transmission. It is up to each individual to choose what risks are worth taking. This is where I feel we need to search within for what is right for ourselves.

Life has changed so much in the past two months. There is sadness, frustration and loss. I look forward to the future.

Many Blessings to you and your family! ✌ 💕

      • Again, Lisa, you said it perfectly and I agree. You touched on the division because of mask wearing and I’m saddened about that, too. I feel this country is more divided than ever. It’s difficult to keep anxiety from worming its way into our minds. I’ve had my moments but have always been able to shift my mindset to a more pleasant way of thinking. Thanks again and blessing to you and yours as well. ❤

  4. My intuition speaks to me through a random thought even when I’m not thinking on a topic. For example, 2 weeks ago out of the blue, had a thought to check the car radiator. My Mom wondered why I wanted to even do it but on checking since we weren’t going out but the thought wouldn’t leave me.

I discovered a leak in the radiator! God Bless my mechanic who had a mobility pass and came to my house to get the radiator repaired.

Ever since the pandemic started, I’ve seen people falling into 2 camps – those who turned off the tv to avoid bad news and those who keep track so they can take informed decisions. Given the fact that I have a parent in the high risk category and am asthmatic, knowing what’s going on is important but we don’t allow it to rule our lives or push us into paranoia.

We’re entering Lockdown 5.0 in India on June 1 with more relaxations and when I look back at the last 2 months, I can see it was my intuition that has guided me on when I should step out and when I should retreat from the world to rest and plan ahead.

    • Yes, I agree Vatsala.

Intuition loves to pop in anytime we are open and receptive! Thank God you listened. I have had inklings before with my car and asked my husband to check it and it does need to be fixed or replaced.

I know people who also watch or read no news. I find this concerning with what we need to know right now. I also know people who take in too much and that also affects their mental health.

We are re-opening in phases here in Massachusetts, USA. Time will tell how it goes. I am listening to my intuition and venturing out a little at a time.

Many Blessings to you and your family,

  5. I just encountered something strange. This could be LoA though… but it makes me curious and I want to learn more about intuition and LoA:

The universe answers my questions in really weird ways. For instance, I wondered something about someone the other day who had blocked me years ago over some petty disagreement. Logged into my account I hardly ever use to see the answer right there in my DMs, clear as day. The person messaged me out of the blue, sent me the answer out of the blue (I never asked directly), and blocked me (yet again). So weird!

    • You were open to the answer and you received it, Hilary! This is confirmation, you are connected.

Both the LoA and our intuition operates on our energy having the ability to flow. As you strength your intuition, this process will happen more rapidly. Many times, I think of something and the answer appears.

Thanks for stopping in to join the conversation. Many Blessings, Lisa
